A Toilet Tissue Product Comparison

In these tough economic times it is understandable to seek alternatives to paying high prices at the grocery store. Buying generic labels is a fantastic start to cutting your living expenses in the grocery store. A generic, or store brand label does not mean you are sacrificing quality for quantity. Often times the only difference you will notice are the savings and no frills packaging. In this multiple product review I will compare FMV toilet tissue to Cottonelle toilet tissue.

FMV stands for: For Maximum Value. This product is made by the Kroger company and often times is not only a better value, but also equal in quality. For Maximum Value toilet tissue comes in a four pack and is priced at under eighty cents per package in my area. When you consider what you use toilet tissue for, does the packaging really matter? FMV toilet tissue is a better product than Cotonelle in my opinion. FMV toilet tissue is packaged in a traditional simple plastic wrapping with no pictures of cute bears or adorable puppies. Ultimately FMV toilet tissue gets the intended job done. The texture is soft, and the product is effective. FMV toilet tissue exceeded my expectations. I will never pay three to five dollars for a package of toilet tissue again. Personally the design of the packaging is most unimportant to me. Puppies and bears do not sell the toilet tissue, the need for cleanliness is the selling factor. I would recommend FMV toilet tissue to anyone, it is a product that everyone uses, it is affordable, effective and a great deal.

Cottonelle toilet tissue paper is quite popular and depending on where you shop it can be expensive. I don’t personally care for this product for one simple reason. If you pay attention you will notice that Cottonelle toilet tissue is linty and dusty. Tap on a roll of Cottonelle toilet tissue and watch the white ‘dust’ escape from the roll of toilet tissue. Maybe I am just picky, but I personally do not want to use a dusty and linty toilet tissue. For this reason I will steer clear of Cottonelle. Additionally I do not think the product is worth the additional cost simply because it has an adorable puppy on the packaging.

If you are shopping for toilet tissue, try the For Maximum Value brand made by the Kroger company. It is affordable, effective and it will do the job it is intended to do at a fraction of the price of the national brands. You are not going to sacrifice quality, you will just save a lot of money!
