All Time Favorite Comedy Movies

Everyone loves a great laugh every now and again, right? Comedy is one of my favorite genres of movies, I love to laugh, and I just can’t get enough of these great titles.

Starting off my great list of comedies is, of course, “American Pie”, well all of the “American Pie” series, they are absolutely hilarious, a bit vulgar at times but none the less ridiculously hilarious at all times.

The way the guys get themselves into the stupidest situations, and then somehow miraculously they are forgiven and all is well again, my oh my, and some of those messes are pretty bad, but funny, so I guess it is all ok.
You can’t really think of a comedy and not have this big sign flashing in your head “American Pie” “American Pie”. They are the greatest comedies out there.

Another vulgar yet hilarious comedy is the “South Park Movie”, those little kids and their bad mouths are insanely funny. And being a cartoon they can do anything. In every episode you can always count on hearing “Oh My God! They killed Kenny”.

It makes me laugh every time I hear it, and somehow it never gets old. And Cartman, the little fat guy, and my personal favorite, he’s always got some smart remark and something rude to say.

So yeah, if you like South Park, you have got to see the movie, it is even greater than the show.

Jack Black stars in the comedy “Envy”; he is a dorky guy, who comes up with the invention “Va-poo-rize”. His best friend Ben Stiller decides that it is to risky of an idea and convinces himself that it will never work, but later finds out that it is the invention of a lifetime and brings Black into millions of dollars. It is a great movie full of laughs, and crazy situations you couldn’t imagine.

“Demolition Man” is another superb comedy, well it is more of an Action/Comedy, but still it is pretty good. It stars Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes, the two are an interesting combo to say the least, but they are both amazing actors, and it is always great to see big tuff guys in comedies.

Stallone plays a cop in the 20th century that gets into some trouble after capturing Snipes, the bad guy, and they both end up getting frozen as their punishment and put into “crio-state” in the prison.

Snipes escapes after 30 years of being frozen, and there is nothing else that they can do, but to ‘defrost’ Stallone so that he can capture Snipes and bring peace to the world once again.

“Freddy Got Fingered” starring Tom Green, is a sick humorous comedy about a 30 year old wannabe skater guy (Green) living at home with his parents, trying to find himself in the world. There are quite a few weird situations and hilarious cast and lines, including one that cracks me up every time I see it, “Daddy would you like some sausage? Daddy would you like some sausages?” This movie is a bit disgusting at times; after all it is Tom Green.

Another sickeningly funny Tom Green movie is “Road Trip”. Most of Green’s movies are pretty much the same gross stuff, but hey it is all really funny. And most Americans are drawn to gross humor, I know I am.
So if you are like most Americans, you will at least find this movie amusing. I happen to find it hilarious, it just amazes me each time I see Green do something disgusting, and his facial expressions are so crazy, I can’t help but laugh each time I see his movies.

Ok now here is a movie that you can watch over and over again and never get tired of it, the weirdest story plot, a hilarious cast, and situations that crack you up.
“The Pest”, and that he is, John Leguizamo is hilarious as this quirky, nerdy, master of disguise. He always finds his way out of any trouble he may be in, by changing his look and voice. I just can’t get enough of this funny guy’s acting.

“Boat Trip”, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. is so funny, the story goes like this; Cuba and his girlfriend end up breaking up, so Cuba’s best friend takes him to their travel agency and together they plan a cruise to take Cuba’s mind off of his girlfriend. The trouble is, they made the travel agent mad and he booked them on a Gay Cruise.
So during their cruise they have to avoid the men that are everywhere, checking them out, making them so uncomfortable they want to jump off the boat. It is so funny you have to see this movie.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is also in the comedy “Rat Race”, this hilarious movie about a billionaire with so much money he doesn’t know what to do with it, so he places bets, on the stupidest things, it doesn’t matter what it is or how small, he will bet money on anything. So he comes up with the idea to place these coins in his casino, and there are only so many of them. So when each person finds the coin they are to meet in this room, and there the billionaire tells them that the first person to get to this locker so many miles away, gets to keep what is inside of it, which is money of course.
So it shows each group of people trying to get to the locker before the next, and they get themselves into the stupidest most unreal predicaments you can’t help but crack up when you see it.

Well that is my list of Comedies; I hope you have enjoyed my personal reviews. And I hope that if you haven’t seen some of the movies in my list, that you will definitely consider watching them, I promise you, that you won’t regret it. And if you have seen them, that is great, and keep them coming, everyone loves comedies.
