Busy People Can Embrace the Swiffer Wet Jet

My problem was always the pain of mopping. I was constantly having to get water together, mixing solution (which caused fumes that almost suffocated me once or twice) squeezing, drying and waiting for the floor to dry. The Swiffer wet jet eliminates all those problems from me in one-step.

Swiffer Wet Jet comes with a strong solution that you click on to the handle and squirt out, as you need it. The pads are thick and absorbent and are simple to apply. (Pop it on with Velcro!) Where does the old ones go? In the garbage! How great is that? When I first bought my Swiffer Wet Jet, my mother scolded me. “Those easy contraptions don’t get your floor as clean as a good string mop,” she ranted. Nevertheless, Swiffer proved her wrong, my floor is thoroughly clean with no streaks and it smells good. Not only is that but because you squirt out the solution just as you need it, there’s no drying time.

It’s perfect for not only thorough cleaning but also spot cleaning too. When there is a spill just pop a pad on and clean it up. For the stuck on stains that a pad just can’t grab there is a scrubbing pad on the side, simply flip and it pops the stain right up. The only bad thing about the Swiffer Wet Jet is the constant buying of refills. The pads don’t cost much (about 3.00 for 10) but the solution is as much as 10.00 and that tends to add up. There are other mops that have ready-made wet pads that don’t require solution to buy but I found out those don’t clean as well and you have to put a lot of muscle behind them to get stains out of your floor. (I bought one and it only lasted a month before I became frustrated and tossed it.)

The Swiffer Wet Jet is perfect for someone with children, have heavy traffic across their floors (No germy mop sitting around or pushing germs around the floor!), or if you are someone who doesn’t want to take a lot of time to have a perfectly cleaned floor. Find it at any cleaning or superstore. It comes in one box with solution and a couple of pads included. You only have to assemble the handle, which is very easy. The whole package cost me about 25.00.
