Keep in mind, wood that has been treated, varnished, or painted should never been burned indoors. Only use wood scraps that are natural should be used as fireplaces starters. Along with the abovementioned items to use as easy homemade fire starters, keep scraps of wood in your woodbin. You’ll never have problems starting a fire again.
