Childhood Tree

Ruby cherries treasure hoard,
Slick stripped sapling magic sword,
Backyard Maple pirate’s helm,
Black cat gate to misty realm.

Breakfast muffin hero feast,
Daddy Longlegs savage beast,
Morning moth fairy sprite,
Lady Bug accursed bite.

Double-bubble blackguard’s chew
Canteen Kool-Aid witches’ brew
Blackbird, blackbird, evil eye,
Devil shards rip the sky.

Summer rain, God’s pall,
Retreat inside the castle wall.
