How to Cover Face Lines & Other Anti-Aging Beauty Tricks

Turning forty years old did not scare me one bit. I have friends afraid of turning thirty, but not me I have never been worried about my age. What I have recently been scared of is the fast track of aging I have seen on my face lately.
I married at thirty five and to be honest I showed no signs of age on my face, I guess it is just good genes. But after having three children in four years, my skin had taken all the abuse it could. From the weight gain of fifty pounds with each baby and quick weight loss of the same amount, I hadn’t realized the impact this would have on the elasticity of my skin and I was in quick pursuit of a way to fix or hide this problem.

I never used much in the line of face products or make up so it was quite a trial and ERROR. I started out thinking that if I used the heaviest night time lotions and a lot more make up to cover up it would distract from my flaws…I was wrong. I had a thick layer of goo on my skin all day suffocating it, and too much black eyeliner just making everything look worse. see all the lotions and heavy make up will just fill in the lines too much and crack as soon as you smile or frown.
I tried some expensive lotions and make ups but knew I didn’t want to continue these prices for as long as the lines were there so I did some test marketing on drug store products with some fantastic results.

Oil of Olay Total Effects x7 anti-aging lotion won hands down as the most affordable and the best results in the quickest time. It was immediate results, I bought the lotion first and used it at night and by the next day I could see lines smoothing and oily flaky places beside my nose disappeared. My husband was so impressed he started using it for the same reason! Next I decided to try Olay Total Effects 7 sign serum in the morning, and what a great feeling lotion, extremely light for daytime use and great for smothing lines also. Soon after I tried the exfoliating cleaning pads and they are like no other, after I clean my face I turn it over and exfoliate my hands and feet with the other side.

I also found out while rediscovering my skin without layers of makeup some make up tips on a morning news show. The woman was explaining the uses of concealer, which I have never used. She had a great tip of dabbing a little concealer under your eyes and on the inside of your nose beside your eyes to help look more rested and fresh. She then gave me the great idea of putting concealer on my eyelids to fill in the lines that make our eyelids look droppy and sometimes stick together. Strange as it sounded, I tried each technique with amazing results. I put on lotion, then concealer and NO foundation just a dusting of powder bronzer on my cheeks, nose forehead, and chin, then powder on my eyelids and I had a fantastic look! I was amazed at the natural, healthy look I had without all the products. It felt better in the summer heat and I can now go to the beach or pool with this look and not look much different when I get out of the water and no worries of my make up melting off my face. I am very thankful for these products and tips and would be thrilled to know that I could let someone else in on my findings.
