Myrtle Beach Hotels: Three Reviews

When taking a trip to Myrtle Beach choosing the right hotel can be overwhelming. There are so many to choose from. So where do you begin? Many hotels on the boulevard offer great deals. Let me share some with you and you can make your mind up.

Coral Beach Resort Hotel
This is a really nice hotel. My husband and I stay here every year during the winter. We choose Coral Beach because they offer many things for you to do inside the hotel. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, spa, tennis court, bowling center, game room, bar/lounge, and more. So when it is to cold to go out you can have fun right at your hotel.

There are many attractions within a five mile radius. Broadway at the Beach is just two miles east of the hotel. The Carolina Opry and the Dixie Stampede is four miles south of the hotel. The Pavilion Amusement park is only two miles from the Coral Beach Hotel. The Pavilion Amusement park is not open during the winter though. But if you visit during the summer this is a must. You will have so much fun at the park. The Myrtle Beach airport is about six miles from the hotel. So if you’re flying in, you won’t have far to go.

Rooms start at $55 in the winter and can get pretty expensive in the summer. You can go online to book reservations and see prices for a particular time of year by going to www.coral-beach.com

Overall this is a really nice hotel. The staff is very accommodating from the moment you arrive.

Holiday Inn-“At the Pavilion”
My family and I stay here every year on our vacation. The activities are endless. There is so many things to do on site that you really don’t have to leave the hotel to have fun. My kids love this hotel. They offer many things like the kids activity pool, the indoor and outdoor pool, the indoor whirlpool, the indoor lazy river, and more.

They are located just one block from the pavilion. There is a miniature golf course right across the street and all the pavilion shops are a block away. Everything you need is in walking distance.

The rooms are nice and very clean. In the rooms they have hair dryers, an iron and an ironing board, safes, cable tv, and more. They also provide in room coffee service. The staff go out their way to accommodate you and are really friendly. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.

Rooms start around $100 in the summer time and about $35 in the winter. I think the rooms are well worth the money with all the area attractions surrounding the hotel and all the on site things to do.

Gazebo Inn
The Gazebo Inn is a nice cozy hotel. My husband and I often stay there when we just want to relax for the weekend. It is very quiet and relaxing at this hotel. We always get a gazebo room with a king size bed that is ocean front view and has its own private balcony. In the winter time is $40 per night.

They offer an indoor pool and hot tub. This hotel wouldn’t really excite children but couples who want to get away for a weekend would really enjoy the Gazebo Inn. The bottom line is this is a really nice hotel and the staff, and housekeeping are very helpful and professional.

I visit the beach often and have stayed at many hotels. The three above are my favorite. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn-“At the Pavilion” if you are vacationing with kids. I promise they will never get bored.
