Now you have to take into consideration the time involved in hauling the item, a rough estimate for the gas involved to haul it away, etc. Subtract these numbers from the price the recycling center pays to get a rough estimate of a fair price for selling your item to a junk dealer. A good junk dealer will give you a fair price. You want to make a fair price for selling and you want the junk dealer to make a fair profit for buying.

A good junk dealer will pay in cash for what he has bought. He will be getting his money back plus profit when he delivers it to the recycling center. They pay him immediately. And a good dealer will pay you in cash before he removes anything from your property.
