Special Olympics Helps Disabled – Why Can’t You?

Many have heard of them and others haven’t .Everyone of course has heard of the Olympics.

Well to me the Special Olympics are better . The Special Olympics consist of disabled children and adults. And you can actual Start your child in training at the age of six. But they cant compete until the age of 8 . But this is wonderful to know that even the disabled can get gold metals . But each and every state and county is in need of volunteers at all times. We never seem to have enough . Each year we have more people joining, Which puts a need for more volunteers . What better organization to volunteer for than to help a disabled child . There are many different types of sports and many areas of help needed. Even help with donating equipment office supplies anything another organization would use they would need also . And everything helps them out more . They need all types of athletic equipment baseballs softballs basketballs . If it has to do with sports more than likely it can be used .They also always are in need of office equipment any type .

They need coordinators. Managers. Just about anything you could do to help would be wonderful Wouldn’t you love to help a disabled child . Just to see the smile on there face . To me the best feeling in the world is the smile of a child . You cant put a price on that . If you are a parent of a disabled child please look into this . The children love it . They love to run and play . And the ones that cant run and play we have something for them also . And the volunteers we do have are wonderful . And we thank you so much for the time you have gave to these children . Maybe just one weekend a month you can help that would be great . And get to know a few of our children . And then you yourself can enjoy the feeling of helping a special needs child . So if you or anyone else would like to help please contact your local Special Olympics ..
