The Best Nightlife in Boston

If you are like me, than going out on a Friday or Saturday night can be the ultimate way to relax after a hard workweek. What a better way to let your hair down than to meet a few friends at a bar or club and have a few drinks while meeting some new and interesting people in the process. One of the best places in the country to do this is in the city of Boston. There are hundreds of places to go and enjoy the nightlife and you will not be disappointed when you stop into places like Felt, Ned Divine’s, and Tequila Rain.

If you want to go and hang out with your buddies and just have a nice relaxing night playing pool while sipping on some cocktails, then Felt is the place for you. Located on trendy Washington St., Felt is the place for playing pool in an upscale joint. With over 20 world-class tables spread out evenly throughout four floors, Felt resembles a pool hall for the millionaires of the city. However, drinks are reasonable and you are more likely to meet an average Joe than someone rich and famous. The atmosphere is excellent, and you can enjoy drinks for the main bar downstairs, or visit the upstairs lounge and sit on the comfortable couches. They have an amazing restaurant, and are available for corporate functions. Get there early on Fridays and Saturdays as the line can get long. One of the best places to go for drinks and conversation as well as meeting some cool people is Ned Divine’s, centrally located right in the heart of historic Quincy Market. Ned Divine’s has all the drinks you could want, and is simply a part of the whole building which features the Parris Lounge and Nightclub. It has the workings of a traditional Irish pub, with an upscale twist. The atmosphere is made by hand painted murals, imported Irish woodwork, and ambient lighting. You never feel out of place and the bartenders are courteous and you almost never have to wait for a drink. It’s a hot spot though, so it fills up on the weekend early and if you get there late you might have to wait a little while. The wait is worth it. If you are looking for a place with more of a club feel, than Tequila Rain is definitely a place that you should hit up for some dancing and drinks. They play the best top 40, hip-hop, and pop music with some of the best local Djs. Their motto reads as follows; “It’s spring break 52 weeks of the year.” They aren’t lying that’s for sure. Any day of the week you’ll find plenty of people to party with. They have bachelorette parties, as well as the upcoming Bacardi Gras sponsored by Bacardi rum. Bacardi Gras has become one of the biggest parties in the city, so be sure to get there and party down with the famous Bacardi girls. Tequila Rain can be found on Lansdowne St., right in the heart of the club district.
