The Da Vinici Code: Book is An Adventure of the Mind

Finally, I read the famous “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown, and I’m very impressed to say the least. Hopefully, I’ll go see the movie soon and won’t be disappointed as this book was an excellent read.

Murder, mayhem and especially conspiracy theories get me hook, line and sinker, and this novel was no exception to the rule. I was reeled in after reading page one and couldn’t wait to find out what happened with this plot full of mysterious codes and secret societies.

Having learned about the dead sea scrolls and secret societies on the history and national geographic channels, I was thrilled to see how Dan Brown put them into play in this book. All I can say is his information was very well researched! Of course you’re always going to have elements of fiction added to spice things up a bit, but that’s what makes novels so great…adding a touch of imagination…

The plot was incredibly thick, but when he revealed the mystery behind the grand scheme, Dan Brown did so consicely. My only disappointment was when I came to the last page and closed the book.

Now, I think I’ll go to Europe and began my quest for the Holy Grail. Well, not really, but he certainly did make me feel adventurous.
