The Hotel W Opening in Dallas’ Victory Park

It’s countdown time to June 15, opening day for W Dallas-Victory Park. The hotly anticipated property is the first W in Texas, as well as the first W with residences. Though the company’s boast that they invite “business and leisure travelers into a world where anything can happen” seems a bit fantastical, the hotel amenities may just back up the claim. Valet parking and fluffy robes aren’t enough in these competitive times. So, what constitutes ultimate hospitality?

Cuisine.
Esteemed chef Tom Colicchio, a five-time James Beard Award winner, heads Craft Restaurant. Taking cue from its New York namesake, classic and exotic season’s peak ingredients are artfully crafted into fresh new American cuisine.

Cocktail hour.
Modeled after the Vegas hotspot, Ghostbar beckons the bold and beautiful to glass-floored balconies. This high design rooftop ultralounge is the nighttime place to swirl and swoon. Patrons can also chill in The Living Room. A second floor DJ booth overlooks the cowboy cool paradise for people-watchers.

Spaaahhh
Beauty fave Bliss presents a hedonistic retreat for massages, steams, and renewal. The hotel also features a 16th floor infinity pool with panoramic city views and a gym designed by Larry North. Personal trainers, 24-hour in-room massage service, and complete getaway packages are a call away.

Retail Therapy.
The sheet thread count is so high and the robes are so blissful that one must take them home. W The Store vends the high quality goods, as well as hot off the runway men’s and women’s fashions. The property also partners with Highland Park Village for splurge-worthy weekends.

Size.
Bigger is better. Mega rooms on the 15th floor, Texas-sized beds (which put Cal kings to shame), giant flat-mounted televisions, and 11-foot ceilings welcome the tallest traveler.

Mogul Amenities.
High tech accessories? Check. Heliport? Check. Aromatherapeutic meeting rooms for stressful thinktanks? Check. Pampering for the signature pooch? Check, check.

Anyone can feel like a VIP with full-service stay. Kristin Walker, Marketing Manager at W Dallas-Victory, shared some of the pampering packages: “From our nationwide brand packages to our local packages, [the hotel] provides an experience with a wide variety of experiences. W Does Dallas [is an] opening package offers guests the chance to experience everything within the property – Ghostbar, Craft, Bliss, welcome gift, and valet parking. The Girls’ Getaway caters to a weekend with the girls complete with Bliss product, in-room movie, munchie box items, cocktails and more.”

The W Dallas-Victory service philosophy is “whatever you want whenever you want it” Soon the new development will have the opportunity to put “whatever, whenever” into practice.
