The Magic Coin Quest in Lineage 2
The Fantasy game Lineage 2 is so popular in Korea that the ratio of Lineage 2 subscribers to the national population is 1:3. Divided into three kingdoms and five different character races (Humans, Orcs, Elves, Dark Elves, and Dwarves), Lineage 2 weaves internal conflict with epic battles.
In Lineage 2 there is what is called a magic coin quest. In this quest you will talk to Warehouse Keeper Sorint and get the mission, sending you to the Union President Bernard to get a special Kaldis coin. You will have a mini-quest to gather the magic coin, but after retrieving it do not talk to Bernard, instead talk to the Warehouse Keeper Sorint. Doing this makes you a Level 3 Member of the Coin collecting guild, which you will be able to collect and exchange coins for better reward items. To attain a Level 2, collect and give Warehouse Keeper Sorint 1 Blood Werewolf Coin, 1 Blood Dre Vanul Coin, 1 Gold Drake Coin, 1 Gold Knight Coin, 1 Silver Golem Coin, and 1 Silver Fairy Coin. To attain a Level 1, collect and give Warehouse Keeper Sorint 1 Silver Dryad Coin, 1 Silver Undine Coin, 1 Blood Basilisk Coin, 1 Blood Succubus Coin, 1 Gold Giant Coin, and 1 Gold Wyrm Coin. You will need to be a level 1 or 2 to trade with some of the exchangers, although some of the magic coin exchangers will trade with a level 3 (the lowest level of the game).
