Three Tasty Thanksgiving Breakfast Ideas

Thanksgiving is an American holiday when the family gets together to eat, drink, and be merry. It does not matter if your family traditionally comes to breakfast, brunch, or dinner to celebrate it; the food is the main reason why everyone is here. This holiday could be a joyful or stressful event for the host. He or she has to be able to come up with delicious and entertaining meals, which taste and look good, and it could be a challenge.

If you are like me, who enjoys food but does not want to spend days in the kitchen to prepare it, here are a few tasty and simple Thanksgiving ideas:

My grandmother’s spinach salad is sweet and delicious.
Ingredients: fresh spinach leaves, granulated sugar, vinegar, sweet dry cranberries, walnuts or almonds.
Preparation: First, rinse spinach leaves with cold water. Second, add sugar to taste. Third, add one table spoon of sugar. Mix everything thoroughly, and top it with dry cranberries and nuts of your choice. The salad will taste sweet and sour and takes only minutes to make.

Sweet-and-sour meat loaf is another of my favorite dishes.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds of ground turkey, 1 cup of dry seasoned bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of instant minced onion, 1 can (15 ounces) of tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce, divided, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 2 teaspoons of prepared mustard.
Preparation: Mix together turkey meat, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and eggs. Add onion and half of the tomato sauce. Form into a loaf in a 9 in. x 5 in. x 3 in. pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. In the meantime, in saucepan, combine white and brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and remaining tomato sauce or ketchup. Bring mixture to a boil. Pour it over the meat loaf and bake it for 10 minutes. That is it. You will get a tasty and delicious meat loaf that everyone will enjoy.

Cranberry gelatin salad could be served as a dessert or as a side dish, your choice.
Ingredients: 1 package (6 oz.) of cherry gelatin; 1 1/2 cups of boiling water; 1 can (20 oz.) of crushed pineapple, not drained; 1 can (16 oz.) of whole-berry cranberry sauce; 1 1/2 cups of seedless red grapes, halved; 1/4 cup of chopped pecans.
Preparation: In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Stir in pineapple and cranberry sauce. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Stir in grapes and pecans. Pour the mixture in 2-qt. serving bowl. Refrigerate until firm.
