People of many faiths agree that prayer is a powerful tool. It can also be so helpful to feel supported, and to pray about your concerns with others and to know that they will be praying for you. Studies have been done that say that not only does praying for someone else help them, that praying for them even when they do not know you are praying for them can still be helpful to them.
There are quite a number of online prayer request websites where you can submit your prayers and people will pray for you. Some offer 1-800 telephone numbers that you can telephone and pray directly with a person. Some churches or spiritual centers will continue praying for you for a period of time after you have sent in your prayers. Others post your prayers so that other people can read them and they can pray for you. Visit the websites to learn more about the organizations and their specific services offered. At some you can even offer to pray for other people.
