I am writing this email in reference to the Job Application you submitted for the position of Marketing Manager at our company, Sun Enterprises. I would like to apologize for the late response for your application. You submitted the documents on April 15, 2012, and it has been more than two weeks. We had promised to get back to you in a week’s time.
I would sincerely like to apologize for the late response from our company could not reply to your application as promised. The main reason for the delay was that our local office was being shifted to another location in this time period and our staff had too much work to look after.
However, we are not taking it as an excuse and we would once again like to apologize for the late response we are giving. I would like to state that the email has a letter attached to it which is basically the call for the first interview. It also has the list of documents you need to bring with you on the day of the interview.
We would like to thank you for the cooperation and are once again sorry for what has been done.
