Broccoli Tuna Salad Recipe

Broccoli Tuna Salad is best prepared with freshly boiled tuna – salt water fish. However, if you want to skip the boiling process, then you can use the preserved tin pack of tuna as well. It is traditionally served with warm and freshly baked pita bread

Ingredients:

– 185g drained tuna or 2 tins tuna in water
– 1/2 head broccoli –  finely chopped
– 1/2 head cauliflower – finely chopped
– 1/2 red onion – finely chopped
– 2 stalks celery – finely chopped
– 225g (8 oz) reduced fat mayonnaise, or to taste
– 4 pita breads

    First of all, take a large mixing bowl and place 185 g of properly drained tuna in it.

    Note: If you are using tin-pack tuna, then two tins will be enough.

    Grab half head broccoli and chop it up into fine pieces with a sharp knife. Place the chopped broccoli in the mixing bowl.

    Chop 1/2 head cauliflower and add it to the bowl.

    Slice ½ of the red onion and add it to the ingredients in the mixing bowl.

    Select 2 stalks of fresh celery, chop them finely, and place them in the bowl.

    Add in 225g of the reduced fat mayonnaise and whisk all of the ingredients together.

    Continue mixing until all ingredients mix up well and you get your desired evenness.

    Serve your Broccoli Tuna Salad with four pita breads.
