Released in November 2012, iPad Mini hit the market with two different models, Wifi and 4G. It is available in Black/Slate and White/Silver. Although the hardware is not equally strong, it is thinner, lighter and smaller than the new Apple iPad. The user, however, feels no major difference between the two brothers, because the mini one is as fast and smooth as iPad.
It has the dimensions of 7.9 x 5.3 x 0.28 inches, which means that you can easily hold the device in your hands. The tab is released in three different sizes, ranging from 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The tab is powered by two cameras. The rear camera is of 5 MP, while the front-facing cam is of 1.2MP.

The device was released in January 2013. There are a few differences between the 3G version and Wifi version. The latter has 512MB of RAM. It runs Ice Cream Sandwich, but can be ungraded to Jelly Bean.
The cameras are not powerful though. The back camera is of 2MP, while the front one is of 0.3MP. It offers a microSD, so one can easily expand the storage capacity.
