Quick and easy Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole is a good recipe for starters or teenagers who are learning to make something light for a meal. It may appear a bit tricky to make cheesy hash brown casserole in the beginning, due to the ingredients required to make this scrumptious and delicious recipe.
Ingredients
Frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed - 1 (2 pound) package
Melted butter - ½ cup
Shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 cups
Can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 (10.75 ounce)
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Container sour cream - 1 (8 ounce)
Ground black pepper - ¼ teaspoon
Chopped onions - ½ cup
Melted butter - ¼ cup
Crushed cornflakes cereal - 2 cups
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. If your oven shows temperature in Celsius, then you can set it to 175 degrees.
Take a large bowl and mix together hash browns, ½ cup melted butter and cream of chicken soup.
Mix them gently until the ingredients are properly blended.
Add in sour cream, chopped onion, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper as you once again mix it all together.
Now take a medium sized saucepan and place it over medium heat.
