Chicken quesadilla is one of the most delicious and easy-to-make Mexican cuisines. It is considered as one of the finest party recipes around the world. Furthermore, it can also be made for lunch and supper at home. Even though, it takes a little more time to cook as compared to other recipes. But, the taste pays off all the hard work.
Ingredients
  • Flour Tortillas – 8
  • Chicken breasts – 4
  • Monterey Jack cheese – 4 cups
  • Cilantro spring – 8
  • Large skillet
  • Guacamole
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa
Instructions
  1. Place the tortillas in the microwave after wrapping them in the paper towels.
  2. Keep them in the microwave for around 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Then, take the tortillas out of the microwave and spread the chicken breast across each piece.
  4. Distribute the chicken evenly on all the places.
  5. It is very important for you to note that you have to spread the chicken only at one side of the tortillas so that you can fold it afterwards easily.
  6. Now, add half cup of Jack cheese in each tortilla and spread the cheese over the side containing the chicken.
  7. Sprinkle cilantro on the cheese and fold the plain half of each piece of tortilla over.
  8. Take a large skillet and keep it on high heat for a while.
  9. When it is fully heated, place the folded piece of tortilla on it.
  10. Cook it until it becomes brown and the cheese starts to melt down.
  11. You will have to keep flipping the tortillas until it is brown from every side.
  12. Then, remove all the pieces from the skillet and cover them with the aluminium foil.
  13. Put the foiled tortillas in the oven and keep them warm.
  14. Then, remove all the pieces from the oven, cut them into 3 to 4 wedges and place them on a plate.
  15. You can use fresh guacamole, salsa and sour cream as topping before serving.
