Making Juneberry Jam at home is not as easy as some of you believe. However, by following the right procedure and being patient, you can make this delicious breakfast food at home. Research has shown that Juneberry is akin to the apple and it grows in a diverse range throughout the United States and Canada.
Ingredients
  • Juneberries: 4 cups
  • Granulated sugar: 3 cups
  • Water: ¼ cup
  • Zest and juice of ½ lemon
Instructions
  1. Consider buying Juneberries from your local supermarket. It is recommended to take your time when handpicking ingredients. Choose only the best Juneberries to ensure a great jam taste. Now take a large container and crush the Juneberries using a potato masher or any other similar tool.
  2. Now place the steel container on a stove and consider heating up the mixture at a steady temperature. Be patient as you are required to coax the juices out of the berries. Add some water and sugar into the steel container and heat the mixture steady while stirring constantly.
  3. When the mixtures come to a boil, add some lemon juice to it. Continue to stir for at least 15 minutes until the mixture is thickened. If possible, use a wooden spoon to stir the solution as this will ensure a thorough mixing.
  4. Clean a jar you want to keep your Juneberry jam in. Make sure it is completely dry before your pour the jam in. Use a piece of cloth to dry the jar from the inside and outside as you want to make sure that the jar is dry.
  5. Pour the hot mixture into the sterilized jar. Make sure there is some clearance on top of the jar. Consider cleaning the rims using a piece of cloth. Tighten the lid to avoid dropping jam on the floor. Before putting the jar in the fridge, place it inside a tub of boiling water for 10 minutes. Remember to be careful while putting the jar in the boiling water to avoid getting burned.
