Ingredients
Topping –
Oat flour – 1 cup
Old fashioned oatmeal - 1 cup
Light brown sugar – ⅔ cup
Unsalted butter – 1 stick
Filling –
Apples – 6
Large pears – 3
Frozen cranberries – 2 cups
Granulated sugar – ¾ cup
Oat flour – ⅓ cup
Ground cinnamon – ½ tablespoon
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Unsalted butter – 6 tablespoons
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Take a 9×13 baking dish and grease it. Set aside.
Take oat flour, oatmeal and brown sugar and add it into a large bowl, in order to create topping.
Mix them well.
Now cut the unsalted butter in small boxes and add them to the bowl.
Use your fingers to mix the ingredients well until you find the mixture becoming lumpy.
In order to create filling, take a large bowl and mix together oat flour, cinnamon, fruit, granulated sugar, lemon juice and butter.
Pour this filling evenly on the already-prepared baking dish and sprinkle it with the topping, evenly distributed.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for around 1 hour 20 minutes, or until you find the filling start bubbling and the topping turns brown.
When you feel that the topping has started turning light brown, cover it with foil for the rest of the baking process.
Take it out and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
Now place it over the cooling rack and allow it to cool completely. Slice it before you serve.
