Sugar Cookies
Butter, unsalted and at room temperature - 2 cups
Caster sugar - 1 cup
Eggs, lightly beaten - 2
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
White flour, plus some extra for dusting - 3 cups
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Milk (any level of fat content you have available) - ½ cup
Frosting or other decorative ingredients (optional)
Peanut Butter Cookies -
All-purpose flour - 1 and ¼ cups
Baking powder - ½ tsp
Baking soda - ¼ tsp
Corn or canola oil - 2 tbsp
Smooth peanut butter - ⅓ cup
Stick of butter, softened - ½
Light brown sugar, firmly packed - ⅓ cup
Egg - 1
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Instructions
You will need to bake the cookies in the over, so make sure it is preheated at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Beat the cream, sugar and butter together in a bowl, so that they form a smooth paste.
One by one, add all the other ingredients in the bowl and continue mixing them properly to get dough.
You can shape the biscuits in your desired form.
There are different cutters available in the market, choose the ones you like.
Bake the cookies for 10 minutes until they get brown.
Just like the sugar cookies, you will have to mix together all the ingredients to get firm dough.
The preparation is almost similar to the sugar cookies, so follow those steps closely and shape the biscuits.
Once they are ready, bake them in the oven for 10 minutes and you will get your perfect Leetonia cookies.
