Equipments Used: 25 to 50ml shot measure, cocktail shaker and a cocktail glass
(2 fl oz /50 ml) light rum
(0.5 fl oz / 15 ml) Cointreau
(2 teaspoons) Pernod
(1 teaspoon) white creme de cacao
(1 teaspoon) sugar
Yolk of one egg
First of all, pick up an egg, break it into half and separate the yellow portion (yolk) and place it in a bowl.
Now, grab a cocktail shaker and fill half of it with ice cubes or crushed ice. Add the yolk, 50 ml of light rum, 15 ml of Cointreau, 2 teaspoons Pernod, 1 teaspoon white creme de cacao and 1 tablespoon sugar onto the crushed ice in your cocktail shaker.
Carefully place the lid of the cocktail shaker on the top of it. Gently shake it for few seconds until all ingredients mix thoroughly.
Your Eye Opener Cocktail is ready; pour it into pre-chilled old-fashioned glass of any other cocktail glass.
