
Moroccan cuisine is ranked as one of the best cuisines in the world. Moroccan food is considered to be diverse because of Moroccan interaction with other ancient cultures of the world. Moroccan cuisine is a blend of African, Berber, European and Arab cuisines and it has great smell which can attract anyone and no one can resist it. When you start thinking of Moroccan food you actually start feeling hungry. One of the Moroccan writer stated that “Moroccan food is the perfumed soul of our culture” and this is why I have decided to teach you a Moroccan recipe to prove everything right which I stated above.
Preparation Time: 50 minutes
Serving Size: 4 people.
Ingredients:
- Three lemons
- Salt according to your taste
- Half cup of cumin seeds
- One medium sized Onion
- Half Kg chicken
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 4 garlic cloves
- Half bunch of coriander
- Half teaspoon of crushed black pepper
- Half teaspoon of white pepper powder
- 4 tablespoon of butter
- One and half tablespoon of oil
- One tablespoon of paprika powder
- Salad leaves
Take a blender and add onion, paprika powder, white pepper, black pepper, cumin seeds, lemon juice, butter, salt, garlic and coriander.
Now make a paste of all of the above mentioned ingredients using blender.
Cut the lemons in small slices and add them with chicken in a separate bowl.
Now start marinating the chicken with paste prepared in step 1.
Pre-heat the oven at 200 degree Celsius and put marinated chicken in oven with the paste poured on it. Now bake all this for approximately 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes remove the chicken from oven and garnish it with serves and salad and then serve.
