Halloween Ghost Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

– 12 oz. vanilla-flavored candy coating, cut into pieces
– 1 package (about 1lb.) peanut butter-filled sandwich cookies
– 64 miniature chocolate chips (about 4 teaspoons)

    First of all line cookies sheet with waxed paper and set aside until you prepare the candy coating.

    Now, cut the 12 oz. of vanilla-flavored candy coating into small pieces.

    Place the pieces of candy coating in a small non-sticking saucepan and pace on the stove with medium-low heat range. Leave it for few minutes until the saucepan heat and then pieces of candy coting starts melting.

    Note: You can also use a Velata warmer.

    Once the candy coating starts melting, reduce the heat range of your stove to low level and start stirring the mixture. Continue stirring until you get a thick but smooth candy mixture.

    Carefully remove the saucepan from stove and leave for some time to lightly warm to handle.

    Pick up a peanut butter-filled sandwich cookie, hold it with tong and then dip its entire top and side into the melted candy coating. Moreover, you can dip the whole cookie as well if you want to coat it from tip to bottom. Once you coat the cookie, hold it vertically over the saucepan for few seconds in order to let the excess candy coating drip off. Now, gently place the coated cookie on the previously lined waxed paper with coated side up. Repeat the same procedure with rest of the cookies.
