If you are a business executive, communication is probably the best weapon you can have. There are a lot of routine tasks, which have to be performed simply through verbal or written communication. You have to write emails, reports and a lot of other things like that in order to keep the work flowing smoothly.

On the other hand, verbal communication is also very important, as you have to discuss some important things with your manager and give presentations in front of an entire team. Moreover, you might have to conduct interviews, so you should be better prepared for all of that.

However, some people don’t realise their mistakes they make while communicating to others and that can leave a bad impression on others. Let’s say you have walked in for an interview and you are probably the best candidate to do the job. Despite that, your communication skills will matter a lot and if you fail to impress the interviewer, you could end up losing the job. Similarly, you wouldn’t want to leave a bad impression, if you are the one interviewing someone for a job.
