Bring Water to Boil
Take a large boiling pot or sauce pan and fill half of it with lukewarm water - depending on the amount of Cinnamon solution you need. Place it on your stove with medium-high heat range and bring it to rolling boil.
Add in the Cinnamon sticks
Add 5 cinnamon sticks to the boiling water and thoroughly submerge them into the water, using a fork or spoon.
Let it Boil
Now let the cinnamon sticks boil for 3 to 5 minutes until the water turns brown in colour.
Let the solution simmer
Reduce the heat range to medium-low range and let the cinnamon sticks simmer for the next 3 to 5 hours, keeping the pot uncovered.
Add in water - Time to time
Make sure to monitor the simmering of cinnamon sticks time to time and pour in some warm water once the level of cinnamon solution goes down. Make sure to keep the level of water high during the 3 to 5 simmering hours. The fragrance of cinnamon sticks spread to various parts of your house in the form of vapours, enhancing the overall environment.
Discard the water
Turn off the heat of the stove and discard the cinnamon mixture, straining the cinnamon sticks. Set the sticks aside to dry.
