Yahoo Messenger may already be running when you started Windows. If it is not, boot the programme from the Start Menu or the location where you had installed it.
With your Yahoo login information; sign in to the Yahoo Messenger. Make sure you have an internet connection running on your computer; otherwise you will not be able to sign in to your Yahoo Messenger account.
After you have signed in, point to the Messenger’s menu bar and choose ‘Join Chat Room’ from the list of options available. Within seconds, the Messenger will return a list of all chat rooms that you can join along with the number of people chatting in each chat room at that particular time.
Click on the Yahoo chat room you want to enter and wait until it loads properly. A by name list of people chatting in the room at the particular time will be displayed.
Choose to send an ‘Instant Message (IM)’ to the person you plan to boot out of Yahoo chat. An instant messaging window pops up as soon as you click the ‘Send IM’ option by highlighting the name of the member you plan to boot out.
Finally, send lots of IMs in very quick succession from the instant messaging window. The IM stream you send should be very lengthy. The best way to accomplish this is to use a boot programme which will send a literally infinite IM string causing the other user’s IM window to overflow and then eventually crash in a matter of a few minutes. As soon the other user’s IM window crashes, that user will automatically be booted out of the chat room.
