Before doing anything else, you will need to make sure that you have a computer that runs on Microsoft Windows or Apple OS as currently these are the only two operating systems compatible with the iTunes application.
Consider switching on your computer and wait for the OS to load. Enter your username and password to access the desktop. If you do not have Apple iTunes application installed on your computer, you will be required to navigate to Apple’s website to download the product for free. In the product and services section of Apple’s website, find the iTunes application. Create an account on the website to start downloading the product.
Click the iTunes icon in the start menu and run the application to complete the installation procedure. Next, download a free program for converting DVD’s into digital files for iTunes. HandBrake and MediaFork are two of the most commonly used software for this purpose. However, you should choose the one that best suits your computer’s operating system. Depending on the operating system of your computer, you may be required to download the earlier version of these software.
Next, inset the DVD into your computer's optical drive and run the HandBrake application. Alternatively, you can change your computer settings to the DVD player automatically runs the disc. Once you run the HandBrake software, it will perform simulations to detect the contents of the DVD. Start copying your favourite movies and television programmes by clicking the start button. Handbrake will respond to the command by converting the content from your DVD into a digital iTunes compatible format.
Attach your iPhone or iPod to the computer and copy the files from iTunes. View and Enjoy.
