3D Pinball is one of the many pre-installed games in Windows XP. Microsoft was probably well aware of the fact that people would not be using their operating system to carry out professional work or utilise its multimedia features, but would also be indulging in fun activities such as playing games. This is why they did everyone a favour by integrating a handful of free, addictive games into Windows.
While 3D Pinball is a pretty simple game, not everyone is that good at it. Getting a big score and promotions in it can require a fair amount of skill and weeks, even months of practice. Fortunately for people who are not that good at 3D Pinball, there are plenty of cheats that can be used to enjoy unfair advantage and create records that are bound to leave others in awe.

Click on the green start menu button in the bottom-left corner of the screen and place the mouse cursor on “All Programs”. Wait for a second as the list of all programs installed on the system is displayed. Bring the mouse cursor to “Games” and select “3D Pinball” from the new list that appears.
Once you have launched the game, wait for it to load and then type “hidden test” without the quotation marks before hitting “Enter” on your keyboard. If you have done everything correctly, you will find yourself in the debug mode. Instead of launching the ball using the spring, simply left click on it to grab it and then move it around the table to hit the various targets and rack up a massive score. You will no longer have to worry about keeping it from going down the drain.
After you have activated the debug mode using the cheat mentioned in the previous step, press the “R” key to instantly move up a rank in the game.
Press “H” on the keyboard to instantly rack up a high-score of 1 million. It is important to note that the score will not be displayed any higher than second on the game’s high-score list because of the fact that you cheat.
Type “bmax” after the game has loaded to get unlimited balls.
When you are done racking up big scores using cheats and turning your friends green with envy, you may want to do something different such as change the colour of everything in 3D Pinball to red. In order to do that, simply press the “Y” key.
