Once the mixture has been made, start pouring it slowly inside the reservoir of your coffee maker.

After the mixture has been added to the reservoir, start the coffee maker. Basically, you are now using the coffee maker but rather than making coffee, you are using this vinegar and water solution to clean your machine. Therefore, keep using the coffee maker in a similar way, and replace coffee with this cleaning solution which you made back in step one.

Turn off the coffee maker once you are fully satisfied. Do not try to take out the liquid; in fact, you need to wait for at least 20 minutes so that the pot can full cool down with the mixture inside it. This is going to make the vinegar-water solution fully clean your coffee maker from the inside.

After the solution has passed through the whole machine, pour some cold water in your coffee-maker’s reservoir and cycle two full pots of it through your coffee maker. This is to help you rinse the vinegar-water solution from your coffee maker.
