Broiler-fryer chicken: 1 large
Sliced ribs: 2 celery
Peeled and sliced carrots: 4
Diced onion: 1 medium
Can chicken broth: 1 (14 ½ ounce)
Dried parsley: 2 tablespoons
Chicken bouillon granules: 2 teaspoons
Salt: 1 ½ teaspoons
Pepper: ½-1 teaspoon
Flour: 2 Cups
Baking powder: 4 teaspoons
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Milk: ¾ cup
Oil: 4 tablespoons
Take a large pan and put chicken, granules, chicken broth, celery, carrots, onion, parsley, salt and pepper. In the end add water so that chicken is easily soaked in it.
Let the chicken remain on the stove for 2 hours and wait for the chicken to cook.
Remove the chicken form the boiling water carefully and then remove the meat form the bones of the chicken.
Discard the bones and the skin and place the chicken pieces into the prepared soup again.
Let the soup simmer until that time, take a bowl and combine all the ingredients which are mentioned above for the dumplings.
Mix the ingredients properly and a stiff dough texture will be formed.
Take a table spoon of the mixture and drop it in to the simmering soup.
After dropping the dumpling mixture in it cover the pot and cook it for further 20 minutes.
Take a deep bowl and serve the hot chicken dumplings with boiled rice or you can have it a form of soup as well.
