Place the four boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a large cut board.
Cut the chicken pieces into strips and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Sprinkle the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and set the bowl aside at room temperature.
Meanwhile, grab a large skillet or frying pan and place 1/3 cup butter in it.
Place the skillet on the stove over a low heat and wait until the butter melt completely and turns into oil.
Now, add one chopped onion and 4 minced cloves garlic in the skillet.
Cook onion and garlic for approximately 5 to 7 minutes or until the vegetables tender.
Place the marinated chicken piece over the garlic-onion mixture and increase the heat to medium.
Cook it for another 4 to 6 minutes until the chicken pieces are no longer pink and softened.
Stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, ½ teaspoon lemon peel, and 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.
Cook it for few more seconds and remove from the heat.a
