How to Create Photo Statuettes Using Mpix

If you want to display your family picture on your office desk, or just want to add beauty to your room by having a family photo installed, you don’t always need to go the conventional way, in which you get a picture snapped in a studio, and then pay money to get it in a framed form. If you want to do something out of the box,  you can consider ordering statuette of your favourite picture from Mpix and place it on your table.

Instructions

    Visit Mpix.com and click “Sign In” and then “Sign Up” if you do not have an account on Mpix. Provide all the required information to complete the registration. This information is pretty basic.

    Once you are logged in to your account, click “Create New Album” to make a new photo album. Provide a name for the new album and click “OK”. Click “Add Photos” and then again press “Add Photos” in the new window that appears.

    You will now be required to add all the photos that you want to add to your newly created album. Press and hold “Ctrl” key while selecting multiple pictures, and then click “Open”. Click the “Upload” button to upload all the selected pictures.

    After you are done with uploading your pictures, you can select the pictures you want to order statuettes for. Click “Order Prints” and you will be taken to the order page, where you will be required to enter the size and amount of statuettes you want. Select the size for each picture and your required quantity in the panel present at the right side of the page.

    You can then choose any finishing options, such as facial retouching, stray hair removal etc. Click “OK” after applying any finishing options and check the pictures and the amount you entered. If everything feels corrects, click the “Next” button.

    You can crop your image, if the need may be and as per your need. As you are ordering statuette, you should leave at least ¼ inch space at the bottom of the picture, which will work as the base.

    You can then select the colour tone of your statuette, whether it should be black and white or in sepia tone.

    Click “Next” and then choose the type of finish you want for your statuette. The choices can be true black and white, metallic or e-surface.

    Proceed to checkout and provide your billing information.
