Instructions

  • 1

    Pick Up Your Supplies

Before you begin anything, you will need some basic toe-tampering supplies such as, a tub of warm water for soaking, nail clippers, an acetone remover, a nail file, a nail buffer, pumice stone and a polish color of choice.

  • 2

    Remove Old Nail Polish

This is usually the first step to giving yourself the perfect pedicure by getting rid of old nail polishes. And with the help of an acetone remover you should be able to get the job done in no time.

  • 3

    Soak Your Feet

Fill a tub with hot water and allow your feet to soak for about ten minutes. By doing so, the water would soften tough calluses and remove dirt that might have built up. Also they can help soften your toe nails and cuticles, which is vital for when you are prepping to paint your toe nails.

  • 4

    Cut And File Your Nails

Use a pair of nail clippers to cut your toe nails down to a perfect size, just short enough to see a bit of white at the tips. After that, use a buffing pad to file down the ridges and rough edges on the top nails.

  • 5

    Clean Up Your Skin

Take the pumice stone to scrub down the calluses on the heel and ball of your foot. Once you are done, take a scrubbing brush and scrub your entire foot. And also, you can add a bit of soap when brushing between your toes and all over the bridge of your foot. Be sure to rinse off your feet with a bit of water after all the scrubbing.

  • 6

    Prepare For Polish

Dry your feet off and massage on a layer of lotion on your skin, then wait for about 5 minutes for complete dryness.

  • 7

    Apply Any Suitable Color

Select the perfect nail color and paint each of your toe nails. Make sure you take your time to avoid staining your skin in process.
