How to Enable JavaScript in Firefox (For Windows)

JavaScript is an interpreted internet programming language which is used by several websites in order to create a dynamic interaction with the person who logs in. Since it is a part of the web browser, once it is implemented on a website, the client-side scripts allow them to interact with every user who logs on to a website with JavaScript. This language also helps in controlling the browser and altering document content that is on display. This language has now become quite common, so much so that it is being used by server side programmers and game developers as well.

    When it comes to your browser, if you are using Firefox, you have the option to either enable or disable JavaScript. If JavaScript is not enabled on Firefox, you will not able to see the same aspects of a particular java-based website which you can see when the JavaScript is enabled on your browser. Therefore, if you believe that you cannot open a dynamic website as it should be opened here is how you can enable JavaScript on Firefox.

    First of all, double click on the Firefox icon which should be located on your desktop. If it is not on your desktop then find it through the start menu button and open Firefox on your computer.

    Once Firefox is open, locate the top menu bar.

    Click on the tools tab. Once you take your cursor on top of it, you will be able to see a list of options to choose from.

    The last option contains “Options” and you need to click on it in order to open the desired menu. Wait till a new dialog box opens on your screen.

    Look through several checkboxes present in the menu. Find the checkbox which reads “Enable JavaScript”.

    If this is already checked, then let it remain like that. In case it is unchecked, check it.

    Once you have checked the “Enable JavaScript” then click on the advanced tab.

    The advanced dap is going to pull out a drop-down menu in front of you.

    If you want to configure JavaScript according to your preferences then use this configuration menu. There must be several actions to choose from and you can check the ones which you want to allow the script to perform.

    Since your work in the Options box is complete, click on “OK” to save the settings on Windows Systems.
