    - Other than the licensee, there should be another person at the premises or at a reasonable distance at all times to take necessary measures in case of a fire burst or other emergency. In addition to this, fire extinguishers should be available at the premises and their positions must be marked clearly or sufficient supply of water and sand should be available in case of an urgent situation.

    - Records of all animals should be maintained properly; like their description, arrival and departure dates, names and addresses of the owners, fee charged for animals stay (includes food as well), phone numbers of owners in case of an emergency. Licensee needs to keep updating this record on a daily basis.

    - Proper toilet and washing facilities should available to the owner, staff members or the occupant of the property, including any family members living with them.

    - Authorised officer of the boroughs or veterinary services staff should be given access into the premises during feasible timings so they could inspect animals, premises and any other necessary things.
