Apply tea tree oil
Tea tree oil, extracted from Melaleuca Alternifolia plant, is very useful in getting rid of the skin tags. First, wash the unwanted skin tag with a good quality soap and wait until it dries out. Then, grab a cotton ball, soak it in plain water and place three drops of tea tree oil on it. Now, gently rub it cotton ball against your skin for a few minutes. Repeat this process for at least three times per day until your skin tag falls off.
Apply nail polish
You can also use a nail polish in order to remove your skin tags. You just have to apply a nail polish to the skin tags three times a day. Make sure to repeat it every day until you get rid of the skin tag.
Tie skin tag wit a thin string
Take a thin string piece, fishing line, dental floss or a thread and tie it around the base of the skin tag that you want to get rid of. Leave it for few days so it falls off automatically.
Apply duct tape
Pick up a duct tape and cut a piece of it with a scissors that is large enough to cover the skin tag you want to remove. Cover your skin tag with the piece of duct tape and leave it for a few days until your skin tag begins to loosen up and falls down.
Vitamin E Cream
In addition, another great remedy for removing skin tags is a Vitamin E cream. Simply take a band-aid, place some Vitamin E cream on it, and place it on your skin tag. Leave it for a couple of days until it falls off.
Bind a piece of potato on Skin tag
Potato is also useful in removing skin tags. Take a fresh potato, wash it properly, and cut it into a few pieces. Now, take one piece and place it over the skin tag. Wrap it with a bandage and wait for some time. Repeat this method until you get rid of the skin tag permanently.
Castor oil- baking soda paste
Mix castor oil and baking soda, stir until both of the ingredients mix well and convert into a paste. Apply it to your skin tags and wait until dry. Wash it with cold water. Repeat this activity at least three times a day for a couple of weeks.
Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar on the affected area of your body is one of the best remedies against skin tags. Soak your affected area in mild water for approximately an hour and then dry it with a clean and soft towel. Now, take a cotton ball, dip it in the apple cider vinegar, and apply it to your skin tags. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes until your skin absorbs it properly. Repeat this whole procedure a few times in a day or until the skin tag is removed.

If none of the homemade remedies seem to work against the skin tag, book an appointment with the best dermatologist of your area. Discuss the different treatments for skin tags like sterile scissors or a surgical scalpel, freezing, electrocautery or cryotherapy etc.
