How to Make a Beachcomber Cocktail

You really don’t need to go to the beach to make this amazingly lip smacking treat – easy to make and vibrant! You can make a Beachcomber Cocktail anytime around the year, but it makes a fantastic summer merrymaking drink to kill the dog days and a gorgeous delight for the eyes. In order to make it more tantalizing and eye-catching, serve it in a chill and rimmed long stemmed cocktail glass.

This Beachcomber Cocktail Recipe is idyllically served up with multihued and exotic presentation, accompanied by some ice cubes, fresh fruit slices, paper flowers and umbrella straws etc. You can add some freshly extracted lime or lemon juice to the ingredients for more revitalizing citrus essence and a wonderful glint, making the cocktail even more tempting!

Serving Size: 1glass
Utensils : Cocktail glass, cocktail shaker and straw

Ingredients:

– 1.25 oz Vodka
– 0.25 oz coconut rum
– 0.5 oz pineapple juice – fresh juice is preferred
– 0.25 oz orange juice – fresh juice is preferred
– 1 slice orange
– Fresh Maraschino Cherry for garnishing –optional
– Caster Sugar for rimming the glass – optional
– Ice cubes or crushed ice

    Prepare the Cocktail Glass

    Place some powdered caster sugar in a large saucer. Cut a lime into two slices and rub one of its all around the rim of your cocktail glass until wet well. Dip the wet rim of the glass into the sugar and then set it in your refrigerator to chill well. Keep the other lime slice for later use.

    Mix the Liquors

    Now fill your cocktail shaker half-full of some ice cubes or crushed ice. Pour 1.25 oz of Vodka, 0.25 oz of coconut rum, 0.5 oz of pineapple juice and 0.25 oz of fresh orange juice. Stick down the cocktail shaker’s lid properly and shake it energetically for 15 seconds.

    Pour the Cocktail into a Glass

    Take out the rimmed glass from the refrigerator and carefully pour the Beachcomber Cocktail into it.

    Add in Lime Slice

    Let the left behind fresh lime slice float on the top of the cocktail and garnish it with a maraschino cherry – if you like.

    Your Beachcomber Cocktail is all set to go; place an umbrella straw in it and serve chill. Enjoy!
