Blue Hawaii Cocktail is a gorgeous light drink made from blue Curacao, sweet and sour mix, rum, and pineapple juice etc. According to the interesting history behind Blue Hawaii Cocktail, Harry Yee was a famous bartender of the Hawaiian Village Resort and Spa during 1957.

One day an official of Bols, a Dutch distiller of alcoholic beverages, asked him to make a new drink by using Bols’ new brand known as Blue Curacao liqueur. Harry Yee came up with a unique drink, now known as Blue Hawaii Cocktail. Later on, many variations of this tropical cocktail were discovered by making slight changes in its original ingredients.

- (1 oz) Light rum
- (2 oz) Pineapple juice
- (1 oz) Blue Curacao
- (1 oz) Cream of coconut
- 1 slice Pineapple for garnishing – optional
- 1 Cherry for garnishing – optional
- Ice cubes

Take a highball glass and fill it with ice cubes.

Pour 1 oz of light rum, 2 oz of pineapple juice, 1 oz of Blue Curacao, and 1 oz of Cream of coconut into the glass.
