Now, grab section 1 and sub divide it into three strands that are equal in size, and start making the braid. Name these three sub strands A, B and C. Keep strand-A on the right, strand-B in the middle and strand-C on the left. Pick strand-B and cross it over strand-A. Repeat this simple procdure until you reach the growing end of your hair. Secure your first braid with a colorless elastic hair band.
Make two more braids
Go through step 2 to make braids with the remaining two sections of your hair.
Grab the three braids
Once you make the three braids, grab them together, and start wrapping them around in order to give a bun shape. Insert the ends of your braids underneath your bun.
Make a three-braid bun
Hold your braid bun tightly and start securing it with a few bobby pins. Place the hairpins all around your bun to fix it thoroughly.
