Buy a package of clean, durable rubber bands from the nearest store. While you can use plain rubber bands as well, coloured ones look better.
Take one rubber band from the package and fold it half around a pencil or stick, holding its ends between the thumb and index finger of your right hand.
Take another rubber band and pass it through the ends of the one you had folded around the pencil.
Fold the second rubber band as well into half, like the first one and hold its ends between your thumb and index finger.
String another rubber band through the ends of the second one.
Continue adding and folding rubber bands until the chain is long enough to go around your wrist.
Once your rubber band bracelet has attained the required length tie its open ends together. Open ends here means the ends of the first and last rubber band. You can tie the ends together using a rubber band or with the help of a thread or yarn.
