How to Make Amaretto Sour Cocktail

Amaretto Sour Cocktail is one among the most delectable cocktails that hit the spot with its sweet and sour flavors. It is very delicious drink and leaves a slight tingle on the tongue.

Amaretto Sour is the simplest cocktails as it contains just three simple ingredients and takes just 2 minutes to prepare. It is a perfect blend of amaretto, superfine sugar, and fresh lemon juice.

This recipe makes one drink but you can increase the amount of all the ingredients according to your requirement.

Utensils: Cocktail shaker, cocktail glass, stirrer, straw

Ingredients:

- 2 shots amaretto
- 2 shots sugar syrup
- 1 and a half shot sour mix
- Ice cubes
- Fresh fruit wedge or cherry for garnishing – optional

Take a highball glass or any of your favorite cocktail glass and fill it with ice cubes or crushed ice.

Pour 2 shots of a good quality Amaretto and 2 shots of sugar syrup into a cocktail glass.

Now, top the glass with 1 and a half shot of fresh lemon juice.

Grab a cocktail shaker and place it over the glass containing the ingredients.

Gently turn the glass over, hold it firmly, and shake it vigorously for few seconds until all the ingredients mix well.

Take out the glass from cocktail shaker, place it on the table, and pour the Amaretto Sour Cocktail into it.

Garnish your drink with any of your favorite fruit wedge of simply place a fresh cherry at the top of it.

Place a straw in the highball glass and serve immediately. Enjoy!
