How To Make an Almond Skin Cleanser for Oily Skin

Everyone wants to have a healthy skin free of fine lines, blemishes and acne flare-ups, but people with oily skin wish more for it as this type of skin is more prone to acne breakouts, blackheads and large, clogged pores. Although the oily skin does not wrinkle as easily as dry skin, pimples and the shiny look are a cause of concern.

There are plenty of ways to cut down on oiliness but the most important thing is to keep it clean using an oil-free cleanser. A number of cleansing products for different skin types are easily available at cosmetic and medical stores. Since the branded skincare products are quite expensive, you can make a facial cleanser for oily skin at home as well. Making these homemade cleansers is very easy and affordable, also it ensures that you do not use any irritating ingredients that may worsen the condition.

    For a smooth, clean and refreshed facial skin, try homemade almond cleansers, made in milk, honey, yogurt or lemon juice, or in combination of basis like milk and honey, lemon and honey etc. The oil in almonds provides the skin a boost of vitamins A and E, and when mixed in fresh lemon juice, it can aid in reducing acne and scars. When added in milk, your skin gets a mix of Vitamin A, E, lactic acid and butterfat.

    Things Required:

    - Almonds
    - Skimmed Milk (you can use normal milk as well)
    - Honey
    -Water
    - Mixing Bowl
    - Stirrer
    - Blender/ food processor of coffee grinder
    - Measuring spoons
    - Measuring cups

    Almond with milk and honey:

    Take one tablespoon of ground almonds (a coffee grinder works well) in a mixing bowl. Add one teaspoon of skimmed milk ( you can use normal milk as well) to it and one teaspoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to make a smooth paste. Apply the cleanser on your face and gently cleanse your skin, using your fingertips to work the mixture in small circles. Leave for five minutes before you rinse well with warm water.

    Almond with honey:

    Take one tablespoon of ground almonds in a mixing bowl. Add two teaspoons of honey to it and mix the ingredients well. Massage on skin for two minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

    Almond with yogurt

    Mix one tablespoon of grounded almonds and one teaspoon of yogurt in a mixing bowl and mix them well until you form a paste. Apply this cleanser to your face and gently massage it using tips of your fingers. After two minutes, wash off with warm water. And enjoy a soft and clean skin.
