The chocolate éclair cake recipe is simply yummy, scrumptious and easy to make. This is a cake that is as entertaining as it is delicious. This recipe makes an elegant cake, moist and delicious with a wonderful chocolaty taste.
Ingredients
  • Milk – ¼ cup
  • Chocolate graham crackers – 1 package
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder – ⅓ cup
  • White sugar – 1 cup
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
  • Milk – 3 cups
  • Frozen whipped topping – 1 container
  • Instant vanilla pudding mix – 2 packages
Instructions
  1. Take pudding mix and 3 cups of milk and blend them together in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk them thoroughly.
  3. Fold in whipped topping and beat it with mixer for around 2 minutes.
  4. Take a 9x13 inch baking dish and grease it by using butter.
  5. At the bottom of the dish, spread a layer of graham crackers.
  6. Use half of the pudding mixture and spread it over the crackers, prior to topping it with graham crackers.
  7. Repeat the layering process one more that; pour the remaining pudding mixture over the crackers and then top the second layer with crackers.
  8. The pudding-making process includes mixing of ¼ cup milk, cocoa and sugar and putting them into a medium saucepan.
  9. Place the saucepan on a medium-high heat, and allow the mixture to boil for not more than one minute.
  10. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  11. Take butter and vanilla and add them to the mixture.
  12. Blend it well and let it cool.
  13. Pour the sauce over the upper layer of the graham crackers and put the cake into the refrigerator.
  14. When all set, the chocolate éclair cake is ready to serve.
