Combine the ingredients
Once your seafood is ready, you need to take just 5 minutes out of your schedule for this outstanding cocktail sauce. Grab a small bowl and add horseradish, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice in it. You now need to stir the ingredients nicely with the help of a spoon.
Add salt and pepper
Once you have mixed the ingredients nicely, you can add salt and pepper. Keep in mind that you can experiment with the quantity of salt and pepper according to your own taste. However, it is recommended that you add ¼ teaspoon of salt and just a dash of pepper.
Place the sauce in the refrigerator
In order to make the most of your cocktail sauce, you need to properly chill it. Therefore, as soon as you are done mixing the ingredients, you should cover your cocktail sauce bowl with a wrapping paper and place it in the refrigerator. Some people like to let it sit in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving, but you must keep it inside the refrigerator for a minimum of 15 minutes at least.
Garnish and serve
Once the cocktail sauce has been chilled, you can remove it from the refrigerator and garnish it with a sprig of parsley and a slice of lemon before serving.
