Wash the kitchen counter that you will be using to prepare this recipe. Also, take a some time to wash your hands, utensils and ingredients that you will need. Try to keep your work area clear of any clutter so that you can grab what you need. Place your oven on a pre-heat of 200 degrees F so that it gets warm and ready while you prepare the slices. Place the parchment paper on the baking tray.
Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, salt and sugar to a mixing bowl. Use a spoon to combine them well.
Now prepare the apple slices. Cut a round slice from the top and bottom of each apple so that it rests flat. Now use the sharp knife or mandolin to slice the apples very thinly. Bake for 30 minutes on one side. Open the oven and flip over the slices and bake the other side for another half an hour so that they are uniformly baked. The apple slices should be crispy by now.
