Ingredients:
Water: 2 quarts
Chicken bouillon granules: 1 tbsp
Thin spaghetti: 1 package
Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
Teriyaki sauce: 1 tbsp
Chinese five-spice powder: 2 tsp
White pepper: 1/8 tsp
Canola oil: ¼ cup
Sliced onion: ½ cup
Fresh snow peas: 1 cup
Chopped green onions: ½ cup

Instructions

  • 1

    Preheat a Dutch oven

First of all, preheat a Dutch oven on medium heat for use afterwards. Make sure you use a non-stick oven otherwise the ingredients will stick to the bottom.

  • 2

    Add water and bouillon

You need to add the water and bouillon to the oven and wait for the water to boil. Make sure the oven is on medium heat as that will ensure the best possible taste for the dish.

  • 3

    Add spaghetti

When the water in the oven starts to boil, you need to add the spaghetti to it. Add the spaghetti slowly as there is a chance that it may break while you add it to the water. Cook the spaghetti in the mixture for a good six minutes and make sure you do not cover the oven.

  • 4

    Drain the spaghetti

When the spaghetti turns tender, you should drain it using a strainer. Drain the spaghetti but leave almost one cup of the water mixture in the Dutch oven. Set the drained spaghetti aside for use afterwards.

  • 5

    Add remaining ingredients to liquid

Add soy sauce, five-spice powder, teriyaki sauce and pepper to the water mixture and stir until all the ingredients are well combined.

  • 6

Cook onions and peas in a skillet

In a large skillet, add the canola oil and wait until it is hot. Now add onions and peas to the heated skillet and fry the ingredients for about two minutes.

  • 7

Add spaghetti and reserved liquid to the skillet

When the peas and onions are ready, add the spaghetti and reserved water mixture to the skillet and stir the mixture nicely for three or four minutes. Serve hot.
