How to Make Office Darts

Just about everyone wants to get a job these days, this is because you got to find a way to pay the bills, and starting your own business is something not everyone is cut out to do.

As a result, people tend to feel that once they start working, things are going to be a lot more fun for them. However, that is not the case as spending hours on end at the office tends to get rather boring.

This is why people try to find new ways to spend their time in the office, which includes playing games such as darts.

    Make dart board

Now the office isn’t going to let you bring in a dart board from home, so the best thing for you to do, is to create your own dart board in the office.

Take an old tissue paper box and rip it open. Try and make it into a rectangle, in order to get the maximum surface area going on it.

Once you have unpacked the box, make markings on it to indicate points and scores that people would get for landing on a specific area.

Get thumb pins, pins and pencils

Now the next step is to create the darts. The first thing you need to do is to get unsharpened pencils and gather about six to twelve of them.

Now get the same amount of thumb pins and some tape. Take the tape and attach the pins to the heads of the unsharpened pencils. These pins will be the heads of your darts, so you need to make sure that they are secure and extra firm.

If you fail to do so, then every time you throw your dart it is going to fall apart.

Gather post it notes and rubber bands

Now in order to make the tail on the pencil dart, you need to get a lot of post it notes. Take about three for each pencil, and using the sticky part, attach them to the opposite end from the pin. Repeat this step for each pencil, based on the number of pencil darts that you are planning to make.

Now the weight on these darts will be a little off, which is why you can space out rubber bands all over the pencil, in order to distribute the weight evenly and get things going.
